Daily Inspiration: Meet Sasha Mogilevets
Today we’d like to introduce you to Sasha Mogilevets.
Hi Sasha, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
"I started off taking photos of food & travels with my parents when I was younger, and eventually began assembling / creating videos with my mom, which is really where my creative side started to grow. I’ve always loved food and exploring new places, but I was never drawn to the super generic spots, I’ve always been more interested in places that have a unique twist, personality, or experience behind them. Growing up, I also traveled a lot, which really shaped how I see different cultures, food, and cities, and eventually led me to making the move to New York City, where there’s constant inspiration everywhere.
At the same time, I became really fascinated by the creator side of social media and the way people could build communities through content. One thing that always stuck with me was when my dad told me, “Be part of the top 2%, not the people just watching.” That mindset pushed me to actually start creating instead of just consuming.
So I decided to combine my creativity with my love for food, restaurants, and discovering places, and that’s how my food page, Sash.foodie, started. Over time, it’s grown into a platform where I get to share experiences, work with brands and restaurants, and connect with people through content in a way that feels authentic to me."
